Students & Young People Survey

What would you like the Charters Towers CBD (view study area here) to look like in the future? Whether you're a student, apprentice, trainee or young resident, your ideas can help shape the town centre for the next generation.

Council is developing a long-term CBD Master Plan and wants to understand what young people value, what is missing, and what would encourage them to spend more time in the CBD.

Think big and share your ideas. Your feedback will help guide future planning and decision-making, with Council, businesses, property owners and the wider community all playing a role in bringing this vision to life.

Submissions will close on Monday, 30 November 2026.
