The key objectives of the updated Economic Development Strategy are to create a clear direction for economic development initiatives, attract new businesses and investment, foster job creation and ensure the region’s competitiveness. To ensure the accuracy of this document, stakeholder engagement must be conducted with, local businesses, industry representatives, government agencies, and importantly the community.
