Your CBD. Your Say.

Help shape the future of the Charters Towers town centre.

Charters Towers Regional Council is developing a new Charters Towers Central Business District (CBD) Master Plan, and we want to hear from you. The Master Plan will establish a shared long-term vision for the future of the town centre to help guide future growth, investment and revitalisation of the town centre. While not all projects identified in the Master Plan will be delivered immediately, the document will help Council plan for the future and prioritise initiatives over time.

The CBD is the cultural, civic and heritage heart of Charters Towers. It is where people come to shop, work, access services, meet with friends and experience the unique character of our community. This project is an opportunity to identify what is working well, what could be improved and what priorities should help shape the future of the town centre.

We are seeking feedback from Traditional Owners, residents, business owners, property owners, community groups, visitors and anyone with an interest in the future of the CBD. Your local knowledge, ideas and feedback will help inform the development of the Master Plan and ensure it reflects community aspirations and priorities.
